We are the {OCA} and here is a bit about each member and here is our story...

{OCA}ZED rambles "Once known as {fah-q} zed... I got my name from pulp fiction. Well after many of my friends were accused of the infamous One Foot Cheat, they stopped playing snipers and that is when I started to get to know everyone on laggalonia and then I couldnt change my name :) From taking drugs (dont ask) to having 5 minute shootouts with Yerf, adding {OCA} to my name, and then a webpage and clan were born."

{OCA}INSANE_K@RR says "Right around the time I started playing, this guy at work *wink* *wink* decided that I needed a nickname. So he shortened my first name and started calling me Kar. When I started playing, Kar looked way too plain and so I made it K@RR. So it's just my first name cut short."

{OCA}poo_poo better late than never (lol) "I am probably the most experienced UT player in our clan but definitely nowhere near the best. I played Assault almost exclusively until about September 2001 when I found Fragallonia. I was so impressed with the maps I kept coming back. I met yerf early on but he probably doesn't remember. Then I met two very good friends K@RR and Just_A_Girl through a great guy and player called Predator. The rest is very similar to the other senior members of our clan. As for my name, well as a newbie I wanted something funny that was indicative of my skill. "

{OCA}INSANE_ROBA gives us a glimpse of his age "Well, my nick is very old, when I started to play with my old 8bit Schneider CPC464 :-) I needed some name to put in highscores, so I used firts two letter from my name and surname and ROBA was born." just kidding Roba :) you always kick my butt.

{OCA}Freezer writes "I started playing UT a few years ago, but never played it online (33k6). After playing it for a couple of months i stopped. Years went over and it became christmas 2001. Finally broadband was avaible so it was time to grab that UT-disc out of my closet where it was buried under dust for some years now. I used to play on servers with normal weapons until i acciadentely picked the oca server. From that day i never played with normal weapons again. When I was fragging I came in touch with {OCA}puntloos. He introduced me to the oca-members and after some time I was allowed to join OCA (the happiest day of my life ! My nickname hasn't got a background or something. I use to had JoRdEz as my nickname but it was pretty lame So i grabbed the dictionary and just stopped on the page with freezer on top of it Interesting story huh "

{OCA}Puntloos writes his novel (LOL) "Anyway eh my nickname has a bit of history, bottom line is that some time ago I was feeling a bit dramatic and claimed that life is pointless, and adopted that as my english nickname on the net. Later though I frequented dutch online communities more and directly translated 'pointless' to its dutch version - 'puntloos'. (Mind you puntloos is not a valid dutch word, so it was also quite rare online, handy when registring yourself on websites etc) Anyhow over the years people were baffled at my ranting and endless talking and they said 'GET TO THE POINT' - which I didnt so it just added to the intrinsic truth of the nickname."

{OCA}Woofseven barks out "Woof! My freshman year in high school I wanted to chat in Yahoo. But every user name I tried was already taken. So I just went basic and tryed Woofseven and it worked! Now I use Woofseven for everything. You might even see other "Woof's" and "Meow's" in UT. They are just my loser friends trying to be like me...cause I so cool"

{OCA}Indigo tries to describes something for us "Well for those of you from the UK you will understand when I say my name originated from a drink.. for those outside I will try to explain. Indigo is an energy drink with lots of caffine and some other herbs and things that are actually ment to be good for you ( to balance the caffine I guess ) anyways I used to drink Indigo constantly until it got to the point where I didnt sleep at all through caffine overdose and then some of my friends started calling me Indy and it went from there really.. So there my story on my name nothing exciting but there it is... "

{OCA}LLAMA talks about those crazy animals "I got my nick LL/\M/\ from one of those pointless afternoons that teenagers have with their friends. A couple of my friends and i were driving through my town and we passed these people that had LLamas in their yards. The four of us thought they resembled camels so we wondered if the spit like them too. Ever since we have had an inside joke of the spitting llama. That was my nick when i first started out, and now its been shortned to LL/\M/\ so i can wear the OCA tag."

{OCA}nixkoenner boasts about being a n00bie *cough* yeah right *cough* " I started playin very late and just on lan-partys all other players got more experienced then me my nick at this time was mofulan then i started playin online me and the others met on several ctf-face server to play we used the (FJ)-tag but i got pissed by the behavior of some of the (FJ)'s (- i call them spawnpussys-) because they were always spawncamping so i stopped wearing the (FJ)-tag but it didnt help because everytime someone of them joint a server i was playin on they shout ed me to wear it then i decided to change my nick to get rid of them i looked for other server to play on and got a nick which describes exactly what i was when i started sniperin a few weeks ago a noob!!! nixkoenner means loser in german and i hope i will never stop learning."

{OCA}WEBS thinks of the good ole days "Maybe 5-6 years ago (the middle school years *shudder*) I was sitting with some friends of mine and one of them said that my fingers looked like they were webbed. Of course they're not really, I'm not some kind of fish/person freak....... But he said the skin between my fingers looked like webs. So after many years of inside jokes and other nicknames (fish, froggy, duck, the list goes on...) I started using Webs as my alias when I play online games. I wish I had a better explanation, but I don't "

{OCA}LeeBe gets too many headshots, and here is the proof... " Ok I started playing on March 13 2002, the day i got broadband, having not played since very briefly the previous november. My first nick was {{LeeBe}} but after an incident on the first server i went to where people were shouting for admin to ban me (I honestly dont know why) I changed it to 1. Then I stumbled across Pointless Mayhem a day or two after and sort of stayed in the background till I knew the rules a bit better, then when I knew what i was doing I changed back to {{LeeBe}} and then {OCA}LeeBe."

{OCA}Jetweb tells his story "I started to play UT for a one year online. Then i search for a cool nickname. The first time i played with the name BMW(AUT) but i think is not a fine nick. Then i look on the name from my internet provider his name was jet2web. Cool name i took the 2 away and took this name as my new nickname for all games. Now my name jetweb was born. Half year later change the provider back to his old name Telekom Austria."
